I'm Alastair Dandy - just some guy with a camera, or two, in Seaton Carew.
I take pictures of things which make me think: I'd quite like a picture of that.
I have a fairly large collection of 35mm cameras and I like to select a different one, each time I load a film.
I've just got back into developing films, using the Caffenol-C process.
At the moment, this blog is about 60-40 analogue and digital.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Inversion. Post-processed Agfa Vista film developed in Caffenol.
1956 Zorki S. Kentmere 100. Suprol Universal developer - 1:19, 11 mins.
First roll with this camera and it has shutter problems. Both curtains need to be retensioned. The shutter speeds are slow and the travel is uneven. Fixing it will keep me off the streets for ten minutes.
